Rebecca is a kiwi who was born in New York and grew up in New Zealand. Currently residing in Los Angeles, she is an actress and filmmaker who uses her skills to create positive change throughout the world.
Sam Rose Phillips
Sam Rose lives in British Columbia and has a BA in English Lit and Creative Writing and a certificate in Environmental Visual Communication. She is a conservation storyteller (photographer, videographer, writer) and has partnered with environmental organizations such as Clayoquot Action, Pacific Wild, and the North Coast Cetacean Society
Lily lives in British Columbia and has a BA in Film Studies. She is the media coordinator for Pacific Rim Surfrider and has worked with Greenpeace in New Zealand as well as organized the first annual Pacific Rim Surfrider Film Festival.
Luna was born and raised surfing the turquoise waves of Puerto Rico. She has spent time studying Sociology at The University of Puerto Rico and is a kids yoga instructor. Luna is an equality advocate and has volunteered with programs like Proyecto de Apoya SIEMPRE VIVES, a support group for victims of gender abuse.
Anita has a BS degree in Marine Biology and Oceanography from UNCW and is an advocate for women and the environment. She has interned with NOAA and was the vice president of the UNCW Surfrider Foundation.
Arisa is a Marine Biology student at UNCW where she is President of the Plastic Ocean Project, which researches the effects and prevalence of plastic pollution in our oceans. She is also a surf instructor, sailor, and scuba diver.
